I first met Terry, 30+ years ago, hitch hiking home from Germany where he’d been out working, bricklaying- Auf Wiedersehen style and gave him a lift back into Hadleigh, needless to say our paths crossed in the local pubs and we became friends, sharing many a pint, a few fishing sessions and tales of working on the road.
